The Masons are a fraternity. Not a religion. And they are pretty secretive about what they do. I personally think they stamp the M’s on the M&Ms.

    who knows?

Look on the back of a 1 dollar bill. The pyramid with the all-seeing eye is one such logo. The all-seeing eye being the higher power that watches over all.

Another is the ancient form of a (drafting) compass with a G in the center and an L-square (drafting tool) underneath. This is symbolic of the master craftsman who built the universe.

There are others, but those two are pretty high on the list.

No. It’s called a “design”. Quit looking for deeper meaning. It’s just a star.

  5. Juggling Frogs Says:

The Masons aren’t a religion. They’re a group that requires a belief in G-d, but they are a fraternal organization.

Their logo is the t-square and the compass.

I’ve also seen a few Pagans use the symbol of a star inside a star. One points up and the other down.

  7. cl_freemason Says:

    1) masonry is not a religion

    2) the logo is a square and compasses not a star inside a star

    3) in the USA they place a G (for God) in the center of the square and compasses

    to some others

    * there is NO masonic symbolism on the US Dollar
