    The only way to really find out for sure is to contact them via letter or e-mail with the details (full disclosure of the crime and circumstances) and solicit their opinion, bearing in mind that the individual Lodge you apply to may or may not have a different point of view.

    Not all convictions are automatic disqualifies, but most are. The what, when and where will all affect the decision as well as your efforts toward going straight since then.

    petition and be black balled but takeit like a man and petition again and again soon they will see that you will be a fine candidate
