Are best-selling books such as The Da Vinci Code based on history or are they the product of fertile imaginations with a taste for the occult? An edition of Timewatch that looks at the supposed revelation in certain “history” books which claim to provide clues to unsolved mysteries. Taking the claims of the writers of one of these books at face value at first, the programme then very carefully deconstructs the story, revealing it to be utterly false.
