Sun is considered a GOD in religions in east (Hindu, Buddhist, Jain, Sikh). Hundreds of billions worship sun every morning. We have hundreds of temple for sun god. We consider anyone turning back to sun and worship darkness is worshiping devil. Sun represent light of god for us and Devil is considered against light and prefer darkness.
